You know I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
you see I feel sad when you're sad
I feel glad when you're glad
if you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile without you
Some songs just make you smile eh? I keep thinking of long sultry nights with laughter and great company. It just makes me smile.
Well, going through a huge movie marathon. Didn't go Cleo's Bachelor's finals. :( oh well, atleast I can say I have completely given up. haha. I really don't think I'll meet "my can't smile without you " guy.

Do you agree that we should retain the 20-partner limit for limited liability partnerships for now, but empower the Minister to increase the limit in the future?
3.1.1 In Jersey and the UK, an LLP must consist of at least two partners. Article 21 of the Limited Liability Partnerships (Jersey) Law 1997 (“Jersey LLP Act”) provides that an LLP “shall be dissolved immediately upon there ceasing to be two or more partners in the partnership.” In the UK, if an LLP is left with one partner and that partner knowingly allows the LLP to continue with him as the sole partner for more than 6 months, he loses the protection of limited liability. In US-Delaware, an LLP must start with two or more partners, but if the LLP is subsequently left with one partner, it appears that the LLP can still continue to operate.
3.1.2 The team is still considering whether we should statutorily require LLPs in Singapore to have at least two partners. One view is that as a partnership is by definition “a voluntary association of two or more persons who jointly own and carry on a business for profit”, a one-member LLP will be a misnomer and may be misleading and confusing. It will also be inconsistent with international practice as described above. The other view is that we should allow LLPs to operate with one partner. This will be more convenient for some businessmen, who may otherwise have to find an additional partner before they can form an LLP. Proponents of this view feel that as the government has already accepted the CLRFC’s proposal to allow private companies to incorporate with just one shareholder and one director (who can be the same person), an LLP should be allowed to operate with one partner. The team would like to seek further views on this matter before finalising its recommendation.

Would I date you in a heartbeat??
Would I fcuk u?

Should I intefere?
I really want to.
But I don't know whether the concerned party(CP) would appreciate it or would it just blow up in my face.
I guess it bugs me that I am unable to determine the status quo, after which I would be able to determine my course of action
Sitting here, KNOWING, bowled over my uncertainty makes me feel like a bad friend.
But at the same time, I am unable to determine if this is what CP actually wants and I am an outlet when CP gets frustrated.
I am frustrated by the inability of CP to not do anything, despite the frustration. More importantly, I hate the unwillingness.
Everybody needs a head whack

Unleash the hidden whore!
As slutty as this sounds, I'm going to come clean.
Looking at cute guys gives me an adrenaline rush. I mean, not orgasmic but I guess pretty close ;)
This "revelation" was of course, prompted by Cleo's top50 bachelors and it being populated by guys who are some way Indian.
Damnnit they are hot! (One of them happens to be distantly related, my brother's friend's brother, the same guy also being my dad's friends's son)
But it feels good, to treat them as objects. I mean, its not feminist ( or anti-fem when you continue reading on) but I can completely undertsand why men like Playboy. Of course, girly mags cloak this sluttiness and healthy display of hormones, in nice little pageants like these whereas macho mags(purely stereoptypical) probabaly just say "heck! strip!"
*disclaimer : I am a slut. Not much of a disclaimer, but one nevertheless
I mean, looking at a goo d looking guy and feeling that rush, as shallow as it may be, is very nice. It IS very nice to discuss hot bodies and think about guys in a sexual way. It actually is fairly libearating as it does not imply any commitment as when you bring in the emtional drivel. It is the same rush, you get looking at Brad Pitt. Same illogical reason why we feel happy when his marraige fell apart. ( mean, he IS single but hello? what makes you think thas has ANY bearing on your life.) It is very nice to fantasise about hot guys.
I,of course, have no idea, if this has been prompted but the enlightening fact that I probabaly will never get attached as long as i'm this country. SO might as well enjoy it while it lasts. Or perhaps, because of my slighlty unusal take on love and/or my marraige , I have always had this perspective but never the courage to manifest it.
( and to anyone else who keeps asking [why?!] I did not secretly get a boyfriend in these past 5 mths. STOP ASKING ME THAT!)
In a way, it appeals to the voyuer in us. a slutty voyeur.
Perhaps, I just need a healthy dose of you-noe-what. (what are YOU thinkng?)
I revel in the fact that I'm a shallow slut!

i'll smack you
"I'll smack you" by itself does not connotate a desire for S&M. It does convey anger and disgust more effectively
However, "I'll smack you baby" does communicate this desire for kinkiness more effectively.
Don't you agree? Anyway, don't you think the whole use of baby to signify love and/or desire is mildly disturbing? I mean a baby, is something(one) that (who) is created from sex (love making) between two people, thereby an extension of oneself. Now to use such a term to express love/desire for your lover, JUST A TAD BIT incestous. Don't you think, then it expresses a deep rooted desire for forbidden pleasure?
"Babe" hence also being a derevative of baby. So "I love you baby, if its quite alright" does now have to be revised.
We live in such a sick and twisted world with people interpreting it in a sick and twisted way. Politcal Correctness must rule!
There's my two cents worth of worthless ranting.
Quite fun having lunch with J today. She was like a kampung girl in jeans coming to the city for the first time. haha. The untold joy of the foodie world of Raffles Place was open to her. And she was all bright and wide eyed. Oh! the joy of the innocent.
I need rewiring today.
Well today went something like this. I have nothing to impart to you but the knowledge of my mundane activities, which are all but an illusion anyway.
hmm. very Zen like today.
1. Went to work late. Checked email and blog
2. Went to High Court for pre trial with Mr F and R. \
3. Pre trial ended very fast. Went to the Lawyer's bar. Enjoyed the fascinating British archetypical architecture and style of the room ~ The high ceiling, rafter top, 50's fan, heavy red velevt drapes,Nice red plush chairs that you can disappear in.
4. Walked around with R a bit. showed her the Arts house and all. Walked back to office in time for lunch
5. Due to miscommunication, got a very huffy msg from J. haha
6. Met J and enjoyed her simple enjoyment of Boat Quay(I take comfort in the fact that she will never read thsi blog.haha. Else, I will never blog)
7. Came back late and found my shoe was flapping. Like a duck flapping its wings. Mulled over the problem . Asked people for glue. attempted scotchtape.
8. Went to this place called "The Sole Man" at OUB centre. I'm indebted for life to him
9.saw B and chatted for a while
10. Came back and K asked me why I didn't just get new shoes. Told her I saved $20.90. A bargain.
11. O's leaving so she gave out high class choc biscuits. very nice of her
12.Slacked till now
NOW:Bye!

I seriously feel like a felon. I am just playing games and reading crappy fiction stories but constantly feel as though I am being scrutinised. I have a need to establish that I have nothing to do! kind of.

5 ways to tell you are living in the wrong place
Time once again to review the winners of the annual Stella Awards.
The Stellas are named after 81-year-old Stella Liebeck, who spilledcoffee on herself and successfully sued McDonald's. That case inspiredthe Stella awards for the most frivolous successful lawsuits in theUnited States.
Here are this year's winners:
5th Place (tie):Kathleen Robertson of Austin, Texas, was awarded $780,000 by a jury ofher peers after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who wasrunning inside a furniture store. The owners of the store wereunderstandably surprised at the verdict, considering the misbehavinglittle Toddler was Ms. Robertson's son.
5th Place (tie):19-year-old Carl Truman of Los Angeles won $74,000 and medical expenseswhen his neighbor ran over his hand with a Honda Accord. Mr. Truman apparently didn't notice there was someone at the wheel of the car while he was trying to steal his neighbor's hubcaps.
5th Place (tie):Terrence Dickson of Bristol, Pennsylvania, was leaving a house he hadjust finished robbing by way of the garage. He was not able to get thegarage door to go up since the automatic door opener was malfunctioning. He couldn't re-enter the house because the door connecting the house andgarage locked when he pulled it shut. The family was on vacation, andMr. Dickson found himself locked in the garage for eight days. Hesubsisted on a case of Pepsi he found, and a large bag of dry dog food.He sued the homeowner's insurance claiming the situation caused himundue mental anguish. The jury agreed to the tune of $500,000
4th Place: Jerry Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas, was awarded $14,500 andmedical expenses after being bitten on the rear end by his next doorneighbor's beagle. The beagle was on a chain in its owner's fenced yard. The award was less than sought because the jury felt the dog might havebeen just a little provoked at the time by Mr. Williams, who had climbed over the fence into the yard and was shooting it repeatedly with apellet gun.
3rd Place: A Philadelphia restaurant was ordered to pay Amber Carson, ofLancaster, Pennsylvania, $113,500 after she slipped on a soft drink andbroke her coccyx (tailbone). The beverage was on the floor because Ms.Carson had thrown it at her boyfriend 30 seconds earlier during anargument.
2nd Place: Kara Walton of Claymont, Delaware, successfully sued the owner of a night club in a neighboring city when she fell from the bathroom windowto the floor and knocked out her two front teeth. This occurred whileMs. Walton was trying to sneak through the window in the ladies room toavoid paying the $3.50 cover charge. She was awarded $12,000 and dental expenses.
1st Place:This year's runaway winner was Mrs. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City,OK. Mrs. Grazinski purchased a brand new 32-foot Winnebago motor home.On her first trip home (from an OU football game), having driven ontothe freeway, she set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left thedrivers seat to go into the back & make herself a sandwich. Notsurprisingly, the RV left the freeway, crashed and overturned. Mrs.Grazinski sued Winnebago for not explaining in the owner's manual thatcruise control isn't automatic pilot. The jury awarded her $1,750,000 plus a new motor home.

>>delightful!. > >How To Handle Her > >Your goal is to allow her to
>>take time to relax and gently pull her away >from her everyday

>> >"neaten up" your collection of half-dirty basketball shorts TO.
>>So take >away the clamor of disorder that distracts her and when
>>she`s with you, >you will be all that exists in her world. >
>> >Things To Do, Gifts To Buy > >She adores high fashion and

>> > >Buy her an article of clothing or piece jewelry that is high
>>fashion but >enduring, top quality, like a Tiffany or Cartier watch
>>that she can >treasure for years. (She`s madly punctual, so what
>>better gift?). Her >sign rules jade, the stone of fidelity, so a

>>Don`t >think that means she lacks passion. Quite the contrary!
>>Virgos are just >better at controlling their intense, smoldering
>>feelings, but once >released, watch out! When she finds a man she
>>is willing to devote her >life to, she can be a tiger in bed. Her
>>secret strength is that she >communicates her needs well and will

>> >for two. Set dozens of softly-scented votive candles around the

>>A bottle of >champagne would be good to have on hand, as would a

>>Later, when you make love, be >sure to talk to her during sex
>>because nothing as erotic to her as her >vivid imagination.
>>Describe places and situations where you would like >to make love
>>to her down to the tiniest details. (When she begins asking
>> >questions to keep you taking about a certain scenario, you`re on

Perhaps this is how illegal immigrants feel. I am blogging from the K & W library which I'm sure is not allowed. Every footstepI hear, I furitively hunch closer to the screen and switch windows. haha. I wonder how many of these people here have blogs anyway. Hmmmm.
Anyway one of the lawyers here looks like pumpkin head. Not a good sign. I almost screamed when I saw him at first. I thought he was there to expose my sins to the world.
Bored. Researching some cases for one the lawyers to refer to in his claim and let me confirm what everyone has been telling about law
Its bloody boring.
Well, some of it isn't so bad. Like this case from 1906, where a publication was being sued for carrying obscene material. i.e advertisments carying prostitutes names and numbers and catering to sevual perversions. hehe. Quite interesting.
But most if it is dry and I have to keep looking up the terms because I have a bad vocabulary. like "Tort". Tell me, "Torque" yes!!! I know!!
