Vas Philo 101 : God is Great
Tuning into : Twin Peaks theme song
I have truly realised how great god is. I mean, I do know that god IS great but it is something that is in by rote but yesterday it suddenly hit me that hey, god IS great! Well, it was like the time that Azzah and I were at Parkway having ice cream and we saw how the ice cream was made and Azzah was like It just hit me that ice cream is ICE cream, frozen cream. but that was how it was was, something niggling at the back of your head which you know is true but you never thought about it. Its funny, but I always God's power to be shown in some huge abject form but often it comes in the smallest ways. Like my SAT ticket. I mean it was a big deal to me but I'm sure in the big picture of events mine would have rated less than a nanometer.haah.
Its interesting but I always used to think that the universe was held in God's hand. It never occurred to me where God would be. I mean, he had to have some sort of space right? But, if you look at it logically, he doesn't need space or anything because he is GOD.duh.haah. Then I used to wonder how he was everywhere. Coordinating a famine in Ethiopia and being at the Presidential Elections while trying to help me with my economics at the same time sees a tad too impossible. But then it occurred to me, why was I trying to fit God into this little humanified box that I created. I mean he is beyond all of us. Why is God made into an entity? He is everywhere. He is Infinite.
After all, he's the only one who knows which came first - the chicken or the egg!
Well, the purpose of this discourse was to say that I don't actually have to nuke Korea physically anymore because God is Great and decided to divert attention off it ( I mean, with the US and NK tension..hmm..may it be later than sooner :P)
.haah.
I love having the last laugh with God :)
And the line that I wanted to say so much this year at debate and forgot
"Ducks lay eggs too"
(SRJC Invites; TJ vs CHS; THBT that the news media is irresponsible)
I realise that I cease to remain coherent and sane.
