I CANNOT STAND Rhianna's latest song "Unfaithful". Not only is it whiny and nondescript, the lyrics are so escapist and annoying . I am very perturbed after watching it just now.VERY.

For the uninitiated, (God bless your lucky soul), the song is just about the protagonist ( or is it the antagonist, since she is the unfaithful one, making her the villain.. hmm) snivelling about how she cheats on her boyfriend and she knows he knows and it kills her to watch him feel all pathetic but she can't help herself so she feels like a murderer.

I have absolutely no respect for cheats. To say I take a dim view of them, is to say that Brad Pitt is passbly good looking. I think people who cheat in relationships are scum. And here you go snivelling about how you don't want to do it? THEN WHY THE HECK ARE YOU?

See, I understand that monogomy is not a concept for everyone. There are some people who excel at playing and that's okay. Players are fine ( relatively) because they KNOW they cannot have the cake and eat it too. So they throw lines like "Sorry sweetheart, tonight's just tonight. Tomorrow is a start of a new day" and "Yes hunny, I love you but I love all woman too". They make it clear that they are in it for no strings attached and are not looking for anything more. They do not play with the idea of getting into relationship and then cheating because they got bored.

CHEATS are the idiots who want their cake and want to eat it too. Saying crap like I love him/her enough to make him/her my bf/gf but I cannot help it if I stray. YES, YOU BLOODY WELL CAN. You be decent and get out of the relationship and then stray all the bloody well you want. You do not just stay in a relationship because you are just USING the other person to provide you a backup. That is not what a relationship is about.( unless in which you guys have some sort arrangement that I am not privy to )


And this song annoys me more because you say you don't want do this anymore but you can't help yourself. Bloody escapist mentality. Just face facts that you are a coward and you can so HELP it. Its all the more despicable because you know he knows and yet you do it ( and what the hell is wrong with him. This obviously ain't a one time thing. What you, a dunderhead?) and then you write a bloody song about it and expect sympathy. What's worse is you talk about putting him out of his misery, not by halting your cheating, but rather by thinking about shooting him. ( damn the metaphor, bloody annoying song) Nice. Real nice.
